NBS 22 mineral oil was prepared by S. Silverman, Chevron Oil Company, La Habra, California [1].
NBS-22 has served for several decades as reference material for organic carbon and hydrogen bearing substances. The carbon isotopic composition of this material was re-assessed in δ13C value [2,3].
