GISP Inorganic Water
GISP (Greenland Ice Sheet Precipitation) was prepared by W. Dansgaard, University of Copenhagen, from a sample of Greenland snow [1]. The GISP δ-values are based on the VSMOW-SLAP scale. They are statistically evaluated results of data from three interlaboratory comparisons [2, 3, 4]. GISP is intended for control of the successful calibration of internal laboratory standards realized by use of VSMOW2 and SLAP2 samples.
